hey,
I'm Alison

I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.

I'm here to help you come back to yourself,

and start leading your life intentionally.

this page is my story

Allow me to introduce myself
00:00/00:00

For a long time, I looked like I had it together.

I was doing the right things.

Showing up how I thought I should. Building a career. Keeping everything moving.  And from the outside, it worked.

But underneath that, something didn't feel right.  Not dramatically wrong. But a recurring "is it meant to feel this hard?".

THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED THINGS.

At the beginning of 2022, I made a decision that changed everything.

I left my marriage.

The career I had built in HR.

The life that, on paper, made sense.

It wasn't easy.  But it was honest.

Within 9 months:

- I bought my own house

- stepped into a leadership role in IT

- and was figuring out how to be both myself and the kind of mother I wanted to be.

And it all started with a decision.  A commitment to myself.

WHY THAT DECISION MATTERED

I want my daughter to live a bold, beautiful, full life. I want her to truly live, for herself.

And I'm responsible for showing her what that looks like.

So I made a commitment. To always;

- Be bold

- Lead my life - so it doesn't just happen to us.
- Stop shaping myself around what feels safe or expected.

FROM THERE TO HERE

That decision changed everything.  But it wasn't the end of it.

Over time, I realised something else.

It wasn't just about leaving a life that didn't fit.  It was about learning how to build one that actually did.

So I did it again.

I stepped away from the corporate path I'd been on.

Took the time to really figure out what was right for me.

And built something new. From a completely different place.

Different goals.  Different outcomes.

The same core why.  To live a life where I show up fully and authentically.  To lead my life, rather than letting it just happen.

That's where Thryve Society came from.

Not as a business idea.

But as a natural extension of how I was already living and a desire to create something that actually impacts peoples lives.

Because this isn't just about fixing what's not working.

It's about creating a life that actually feels good to live.  A life that feels:

- vibrant

- expansive

- playful

- safe within yourself

Not perfect. Not polished.  But alive.

WHY THRYVE SOCIETY EXISTS

The more I continued living this way, the clearer it became.

I wanted this for more than just me. I wanted it for all of us.

Bcause I know how many people   are capable, self-aware, doing their best...

But still living slightly out of alignment with themselves.

And I also know this can change.

That's why Thryve Society exists.  Not to fix you. Not to give you a life to copy.

But to help you learn how to lead your own life.

WHAT I REALISED

Most people aren't stuck.
They're just out of alignment with themselves.

And when that happens:

- you stay in things longer than you shoud

- you second-guess you

- you lose trust in your own decisions

What changed everything for me wasn't trying to be someone new.

It was getting clear on who I was, and starting to live like her.

MY BACKGROUND

Alongside my personal experience, I bring 15 years of working with people through growth, change, and decision making.

With a background spanning various HR and leadership roles, a large portion of my work has always been coaching.  Supporting people to:

- see things differently

- step out of patterns they didn't realise they were in

- and make decision that lead to outcomes they couldn't see before.

I've spent years seeing how people operate:

- under pressure

- through change

- when they're disconnected from themselves

- and when they start to come back into alignment

I don’t just work with what people say, they often don’t see what’s actually driving their decisions yet.

In addition to my experience, I've also trained in:

- Certified Master Practitioner - Neurolinguisric Programming (NLP)

- Langley Strength Assessment Accreditiation

- Diploma in HR Managhement

- Certified Change Management Practitioner

- Women in Leadership

- Brene Browns' Dare to Lead

But more than anything, I care about what actually works in real life, for you.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME.

You won't be judged, analysed endlessly or made to feel like there's something wrong with you.

But you will be:

- supported

- challenged

- and expected to show up for yourself.

Becasue that's where things actually shift.

Not in thinking about change, but in how you start living.

HOW I WORK

I'll meet you where you are.

No pressure to be "better". No pretending. No overcomplicating things.

But I won't let you stay comfortable in something that isn't working for you.

This work is about:

- getting honest

- taking responsibility

- actually doing something with the clarity you find

Not perfectly.  But consistently.

If you're reading this and thinking "this sounds like me..."

You're probably right.  Trust that.

You're not stuck.  You're out of alignment.

And that's something you can change.
